There are always a few Amphis for sale on the Club Classifieds at
http://www.amphiclub.addr.com/ads.htm . You'll also find other useful info
there, such as a link to Mike Israel's unparallelled "Amphicar Buyer's FAQ",
a helpful guide that any smart prospective Amphicar owner should probably
memorize word-for-word.

For what it's worth, I had a nice opportunity to meet Larry a few weeks ago. He
met me at the (local small) airport in his white Amphicar. This Amphi is truly
one of the most perfect restorations I have seen. Everything is as it should be
-
a real show car. Back at his home I looked over what he is calling
"MetalBeast".
Not an appropriate name IMO, but more probably reflects the amount of time he's
put into the restoration. Again, another perfect car in the works if I may say.
So if someone is looking for the best, this is the place to go.

I might add that I only met Larry because we talked transmissions recently. He
had a disassembled tranny in a box for many years. Upon getting it home I found
it missing a number of parts, so Hugh accepted it as a core trade in for one of
his nice newly rebuilt transmissions. Other than that, I have no affiliation
with
Larry. I'm just impressed with his Amphicars.

I sold the "64 red car to a 1st time Amphi owner in Indianapolis, Indiana,
Ed Okun, about 2 weeks ago. I think that I convinced him to join the club.
He also bought the 1st Amphi Challenger trailer. I've also sold the slightly
used tranny.

I am motivated to sell my inventory including my rebuilt 1147 engine, my NOS
tranny, and my '99 Gordon restored Amphi. The car is perfect, except it has
some minor paint bubbling in the front hood and the passengers door. Also
the thread on the interior seats is failing. $2000 would make it absolutely
perfect. It is for sale, as is, at $39,000. Don't forget, everything that
wears out was new in '99.

I have a slightly used original Not So Big Amphi only trailer reduced from
$3295 to $2895. This trailers has all the desirable extras; surge brakes,
Chassis Saver rust preventative paint, 3 support stands (that allow you to
load and unload your Amphi without a tow vehicle connected), over the tire
basket type straps included.

Hi group.
I have decided it's time to let my two red amphicars
go. They have not been used for many years. One was
in good running and swimming condition when I parked
it. The other was purchased as a future restoration
and never run or started.

I have not been able to photograph them, but I will in
the next week or two.

I have not set a price on them yet, but I'm open to
offers and suggestions.
