Hi All.

Well, I am just about finished with the body work on our '64, and it is
going into the paint shop soon. I am going to have to start planning out
the next phase of the resto, and that will include a new floorboard.
Since this one was missing the floorboard completely, I do not have a
pattern. Does anyone out there have the specs on building one?

Thanks!
Dan

Dan,
That may be a part you can find used. You may need the flue shut off handle
that comes through the floor and a stock gas pedal. The throttle lock cable
comes from the Tee handle and hooks to the gas pedal below the floorboard is
that complete? Don't forget about the dimmer switch too.
No doubt you can make a floorboard but keep in mind that it going to take a
looong time to reassemble your lucky Amphi. A good used floorboard will be a
time saver.
Have fun with your Amphicar restoration it will be worth the effort.
We are reassembling our red '68 we call Weird Harold. We have kept very
careful records of the time spent. In our case it will be 800 hours from the
start to the completed Amphi. 800 hours and worth it.
