Depending on the lake conditions (oxygen level, etc.), the rust may not be as
bad as on cars that have sat for 15 years in the rain. It will be
interesting to see what it looks like. I hope he shares with us, and I wish him
the
best of luck.

I just got an interesting call from a man who accidently sunk his
Amphi 15 years ago. It is in 52' of cold freshwater. It was just
found and he is in the middle of bringing her up! I wonder what
condition it may be in. Now that will be an Amphi with a story to
tell.

I made sure to tell him that the best way to start a flooded car was
to hold the accel pedal to the floor when starting it. ;)

I will be speaking with the salvage team soon. I'll keep you informed
with anything he is OK with to share.

By tomorrow I may have pictures of it on the bottom. He said the
white interior is still intact and the chrome "appears" shiny too!
