First drive

Drove my amphi for the 1st time today since I bought it one and half
years ago. No doors, no hood, no trunk lid, no glass, sitting on a
stool...just a test drive around my cul-de-sac to see if it works. First
time it's been on the road under it's own power since 1987....smoothe as
silk. Still a lot of work to do: put on the doors, the hood, the trunk
lid, the glass and the seats. Now that it's warming up a bit, things will
move along. Amphi's already worked it's magic. Met a neighbor I never
met before while on my 'trip'.

Randy,

Very cool indeed. My '64 is rapidly coming together as well. I have all the
electrical done, and the front brakes re-worked. I now have to put the engine
and tranny back together, stick them in, and I will be ready for my first
Amphi drive. This car has been off the road about the same amount of time as
yours, so it should prove exciting. Plus, it will be my first drive in an
Amphi as well!
