I have located a Harold, and was wondering if any of the engine parts
are
the same as on the Amphi? Please comment.

Amphicar used the Triumph Herald 1147cc engine - it should be a "bolt-in". Gary.

Seriously, the 1147cc Herald engine is almost a bolt-in for the Amphi. But not ALL Heralds used the 1147cc, so be aware. Also, you will need the special Amphi front engine bracket adapter, and I think the Amphi clutch bell-housing has the same engine-side pattern as a Herald 1147cc, but the transmission side is custom to fit the Amphi Hermes transmission.
