eBay Keyword SPAMMING

I have already contacted eBay about the offending auction. His
offense is called "keyword spamming" and is a direct violation of
eBay's policies.

I can't speak for everyone but seem to get a surprisingly large number
of people who agree sometimes. I for one am getting very tired of all
the completely non-Amphicar related crap listed on eBay. Wiring
harnesses that won't fit, chocolate filled Porsches, and the "I'm
driving a lemon (who has 100s of cars listed in hidden text) to name
just a few.

I have sent many complaints to eBay about keyword spamming which they
say is not allowed. They have yet to respond or take any action. Maybe
if they got more complaints from assertive people to force them to
abide by the rules, they may listen. I am asking everyone to send in
complaints, politely worded, but stern informing them of the offenses.
Maybe this will get eBAY to do something.

By standing by and ignoring ANY problem, you are part of the problem
and not part of the solution. Which category do you prefer?

John,
You should try the eggs, bacon and spam. It doesn't have much spam in it.

As I have mentioned before and somebody else recently also mentioned the blatent use of keyword spamming (hidden text with a list of non-related keywords to get the auction to show in a general search) in eBay auctions. The wiring harness moron, bungee cords, non_amphi coffee mugsand the guy selling rags and parking stops are some of the worst. You can now eliminate them from your search!

Ebay will do little or nothing (even though thay want you to believe otherwise), soI have come up with a eBay search that will remove most of the non-amphicar related stuff by omitting the worst offenders of keyword spamming. Last time I did this search I came up with 120+ hits without and 34 hitswith this filter. That is about a 4:1 ratio!I placed it on the home pagetoo. I will continue to updatethe one on thewww.amphicar.com page as they change. The link below will take you there...
