Mike Israel you right, It is insane.

I'm thinking David Chapman may have some knowledge of this item. How about
it David? Have you see one before? It certainly looks a lot like the
Amphi.

I haven't seen this particular one on ebay before but know of it. Yes they are a
shedload of money - note is hasn't even reached reserve yet! It's not expensive
because it's amphibious but because it is an Ingap brand. It's not even very
good quality but one of the rarest models produced by highly collectable Ingap
in Italy in the early '60s. The other brand that always sells for a lot because
of collectors is the German brand Schuco although their amphibian is from the
1950s so doesn't look like Amphicar.
