eBay bidding

Am I the only one who won't bid against other Amphicar owners on
eBay? When I see somebody I know bidding on an item, out of respect
I won't bid against them. (OK, except maybe against Dave! ;=)) I had
a bid on an item that just almost doubled last night.

No flames intended, Just curious.

Yes, you are probably the only one. I have had some luck in the past when appealing to list subscribers not to outbid me on certain items. In those cases the price only went up 95%. Evil Mike has considered banishing anyone from the list who bids against him. ;-)


Ebay is a great place to sell but usually a lousy place to buy.

Mike, this was from me rather than Dave. I was stressing about a few
things that have recently reared their ugly head, and it manifested
itself in a rather embarrasing way. I have apoligized to Doug. It is
the nature of the auction beast. Best bid wins.
