DuraMix 4178 car adhesive

There's also a product called DURAMIX 4178 made by 3M that was developed to
hold door skins, and various metal panels together. 3M phone # is
1-800-364-3577.
I've successfully used it on different projects, but only the test of time
will tell if it's as good as they say. I'd say the stuff works great for
door skins, hoods, etc, but I'd be hesitant about using these products on a
structural part like a rocker panel, unless you're just putting a skin over
the old one.

For structural parts, use the "structural adhesive" offered by most of
the companies. SEM, for one, offers a structural adhesive that works
very well. Gary.
