After a year or so of having water come under the passenger door, and
trying all the seals known to man, my car is finally watertight! Turns
out that water was getting BEHIND the door seal. So, I just sealed up
the edge along the bottom of the door. Duh!

Quick tip, if you think the door seals are leaking then tape over the 3
holes in the door frame (we call it the cill but I don't think you use that
word) Any water that gets past the seal will not then go invisibly into the
bilge but instead comes over the lip of the frame and trickle down into the
car just below the water lock on the door so you can see what's happening.

Just as a followup, the reason the above tip from David can be so helpful is
that a even tiny hole in the body aft (rearward) of the door can LOOK just
like a doorseal leak. Here's how: Even a barely visible pinhole in, say,
the quarterpanel, will first fill up the quarterpanel space, then the water
will cascade over the hump of the wheelwell, fill up the frame under the
doorway, and then come UP through those three drainage holes in the doorway
and then into the passenger compartment at the bottom of the door, looking
for all the world like it could be a doorseal leak problem, when it isn't.
And yes, I learned about the baffler firsthand ("Duh!")
