I am having trouble with my doors, too. Both sag, and I usually need to shut them from the outside to get them tight.
Gord, you described how you are getting the hinge out, but what is "new shaft and bushings as in most domestic cars". Is that something I can buy and install in my car without replacing the whole hinge post? Do you have access to them for resale? I could use four!
I checked with Gordon a couple months ago and they had a complete hinge post with two hinges for one side (not the other); but that would require cutting the whole thing out and welding the new one back in.
I would love to hear what others have done.
