Scott,

Thanks for the offer to help.

It's always nice to have someone close you can call or visit to see their
Amphi when starting to reassembly, and have a resource for all those questions
many of you have heard before.

I will contact you in the next day or so, and we can talk Amphi's and snow.

Cruiserdog:

If you would like to see a "decent" Amphicar, my car will be on display at
the Detroit Boat February 7 - 15. It is not a parts car, so I would
appreciate it if all the parts (including the pole nav light) remain on my
car. I am also located in the Detroit Area and would be happy to help you
with any questions that you may have.

Anyone in the Detroit Area, check out page 6D of the Detroit Free Press to
see an article on my Amphicar that will be in the Detroit Boat Show February
7 - 15, 2004. Last month we were in the Cleveland Boat Show for 10 days.
Celebrities at last.

We had a huge boat show in MI recently and one of our members Scott exhibited
his red amphi at the show for "strange and wonder boat museum " type
vehicles. You will get a laugh out of this. A little community newspaper did a
short
write up on amphis and did OK until they said that less than 300 remain and
that they cost $4,000 originally and finally their estimated worth was $100,000
!!!!!!!!!!!!!
All my co workers were in awe, they thought I must be super rich to have
bought one of these cars. I had to set them straight of course. LOL Chuck in MI
