cooling system

My green car(The one I am taking to Celina)
has a bad habit of dumping its coolant.
when I travel at 65mph and get to my next town it will have dumped a gallon
of antifreeze into my catch pail. I pour it back in and go home same thing.
I thought I had it the other day. Had a new cap on From G. Imports and
tested it. It would not release at any pressure.
got one of my NOS ones and it released at 10-15 so put it on and seemed ok
but on today's trip
to Gravenhurst it did the same thing.
My other cars do not do this.
Today in Gravenhurst was our Old boat show like Mt Dora has with thousands
of spectators.
I gave my camera to one of them and they took a bunch of us in our car
with a 1890s steam SHIP for a background.
going to put it in comp, now and see how they turned out

Gord,

I remember someone else posting a similar problem with lost
coolant. I recall in their case it turned out to be the engine hood
pressing down on the radiator pressure cap button. With the hood up
everything appeared normal. With the hood down it rested on the button
allowing the coolant to escape.
