Congrats and thanks to all those who stepped up.

Some concern was expressed that there were not more
volunteers. I suspect part of that may have been due
to the fact that most, if not all, of the previous
administration was stepping down simultaneously.
Fresh blood is good but so is some degree of
continuity.

Perhaps the club could consider staggering elections
so that only half of the seats are up for reelection
at any one time. This might encourage more people to
join the board in that they will not feel the club is
starting all over.

A big thanks to the outgoing board who did an amazing
job at bringing the club back to life. Best wishes to
the new board members, may the strugle for President
go smoother than our other US elections.

Mike,

Good advice and something we can shoot for
going forward. Dave C. will be our continuity
link and I bet all the out-going Board will
offer free advice in exchange for a tranny. :)
And as for the "struggle" of who'll be the
new IAOC Prez... stay tuned, be patient.
Heck, we STILL don't know who the newly elected
mayor of San Diego will be and it's been
nearly 2 weeks of counting votes by hand, not
to mention the 8+ lawsuits pending any outcome.
The IAOC is far better organized.

Be well, swim safe.
