Chicago

As my Amphi was a native of Chicago and presumably spent time on the
river, I have always wanted to do the river. What does it take for
this to happen? Any special permits or ? How long to do it?

The Rock river was a blast as as long as everything falls into place,
I'll be there again. There is just "something" about Amphi-people!
(especially Dave!) ;^)

My thoughts were to start small for Chicago River. Starting in suburbs and
getting out in Loop area. Small amount of Lake time. Ending at a Loop hotel with
guarded parking. I am willing to listen to any ideas about dates. I hope you do
come out again for Fifth. You travel with a great team. This just may be huge.

Dave:
How about doing the Chicago River during the famous St. Patrick's Day
doings when the river is turned green.

Here's a site that has many maps with keys that tell where boats are
able to launch in and around the Chicago area:

We'll go as long as we stop somewhere for some deep dish Chicago
pizza B4 we're finished.

Also there is a place called The Chicago Brewery that we may need to
visit.
