Central Florida Amphicar Swim In

Midwest Amphicar

Worlds Largest Amphicar Destination
This year's agenda for the Central Florida Swim In looks fantastic with lots of opportunities to go swimming and spending time to socialize.
Thursday March 16th 2017 is the official start and will be an event not to be missed as we will begin in Clermont, about 30 miles south of Leesburg where Chris, Ray, Pat and Linda are putting together an entire day of swimming and touring in and around the many lakes in that area.
Friday, we return to Leesburg. The Venetian Gardens were a huge success and we're looking forward to repeating it. We'll have the Leesburg Boat Club Pavilion to ourselves again and even if the weather is stinky, the area is extremely well protected. with little canals in the park to swim through.
Saturday Mike is organizing touring in and around the lakes in the Leesburg area to a number of areas we have not necessarily been to before, In the evening, we'll have our banquet at Puddle Jumpers. This will be buffet style dinner .Followed by a nightswim through the extremely pretty Dora Canal.
Sunday Morning we'll enjoy brunch and possibly another swim for the die-hards to cap off another great meet
This meet will include a lot off swimming. If you are planning on showing up without a vehicle, please make sure you have pre-arranged for a seat with someone. Both Dave "the Wave" Derer and Gord Souter are in Leesburg and can help with the logistics of getting your Amphicar there and ready for the event.Questions call Dave The Wave 815 910 5502. More info will be added to 2017 Mount Dora/ Central Florida Amphicar Meet | Facebook.
