I'm a lurker, and Amphi owner since the day I was born in 1962. A
friend of mine sent me this image and I just HAD to share it. Do you
think it's a sign for an Amphi crossing?

Enjoy!

Many men go fishing all of their lives without knowing that it is not
fish they are after.

That is a UK Roadsign warning of an "unfenced waterway" the signs are quite common, I have one in the back of my garage that has a ramp drawn on it !

The car is a "British Standard Motor Vehicle" from the 1950s. It is supposed to represent a "generic" vehicle and they spent so long getting it so it didn't look like any particular make or model it has never been updated. A more common sign from the same group is the one for a slippery road as shown below. One of these has just appeared on the corner a few yards from my house. I've never been able to create skid marks that cross over like that !!... and of course if the road is slippy there wouldn't be skidmarks anyway ?

Driving in UK... David, I'm pretty sure
you don't want me to ramble on about
narrow rain soaked slippery roads with
inadequate road signage in a WIDE Volvo
rental car with oncoming trucks & buses
and everyone driving on the wrong side.
Or me trashing the wheel rims and having
to buy a replacement tire... No way mate,
I'm not going to say word one about that. :>)
But I will say it was good of you to be there
and help this Yank & his mermaid wife out
that drama.

I'm now hoping that our fine finned Mt. Dora
attendees take a moment to send over some
Swim-In event photos and descriptions for
the IAOC newsletter. Now that's something
we all need to see - Dora pics... Dora pics...
