There was a recent posting about carburetors and leaking shafts.

works on every arcane carb ever made. He'll rebuilt our Solex carb and rebush
the throttle shaft for $160. He says turn around time is usually just a day or
two. Rebuild kit #SO-23K containing the main body gasket, two lower
mounting gaskets, needle and seat assy, accel pump diaphragm, and idle screw is
available for under $23. This is the exact same kit I bought from Hugh a few
years ago.
I haven't had my carb worked on here but he sounds like he knows his stuff. The
kit arrived in two days.
