The segment from Celina 2000 aired tonight on Speedvision. It was a
pretty good (about 5+ mins) show. It showed Billy doing his specialty
(YEEEEE HAW!!!) and had a interview with some schlub named Dave
Derer, Humf? who could that be? ;=) All in all it was a nicely done
spot. No Geo, or Amphi-Harley either tho. :*)

I did tape it, so let me know who needs a copy. After I get back to
work, I will see if I can get the whole thing captured and into a
smaller file than the Ripleys video. Then I can post it for a short
time for all who want to copy it or just look.

Caryl and I would like a copy when you are able, we missed the segment
last night. Do you know if it will air again and when that would be?

    Marty,

Sure you can have a copy! I am not sure when it airs again, I forgot
    to look. DOH!

One thing for everybody interested. Do you want the whole 1 hour show
or just the Celina footage? I will add the Ripley's footage in for
    you all as well.

I have already had 8 requests, so anyone who wants one (VHS or 8mm),
send me $7 (I will refund any difference) or all your Amphi spare
parts ;*) (should cover tapes and priority shipping) along with the
    ship to address and tape preferance to;

    Dear Cap'n:

A while back you were wondering why so few were visiting your tech pages and
    I responded:

"As for your dearth of hits on your site at present, that certainly has to
    do
with the fact that it doesn't have the "placement visibility" it deserves.
That will certainly change as the Club page's "Restoration" link is revised
to point to a page of actual restoration resources: info, services, a Q&A
guestbook type thing monitored by the Wave Twins, Billy Syx and Dave Derer,
and so on. It's pretty obvious your tech and systems stuff should feature
    PROMINENTLY there."

Well, as promised you will find that I've added a link to your Parts
    Catalog's old address, http://www.amphicar.net/minnow/Catalog/Gordons.html
in pride of place on the new Club "Restoration" page at
    http://www.amphiclub.addr.com/restoration.htm that should insure some
traffic. So why is your Catalog "404" now of all times? In fact, your
whole site seems to have disappeared without a trace except for the Welcome
    Screen.

    Whazzup?
