Hi All, I made six Amphicar covers. They are made of a fabric called "downy
water resistant, napped back." It is like a flannel shirt on the inside and a
smooth canvas on the outside. The color is black. We make circus float covers
using this fabric. These are fitted covers made for the Amphicars. I made
them the same on both ends so they fit either way that is, either end goes
toward the front. I would guess that comparable covers would cost about $130
If anyone cares to get one they will be $60 to club members. Let me Know,
Tommy in Tampa

Hi, Rob
I will include one of those plastic snap together grommets for your antenna
to go through. You can put it in if necessary. I have antennas on two of my
cas but the covers go over them. They are so close to the windshield, and no
two are alike. Tommy in Tampa

This sopunds great. Thank you so much Robert. I cannot wait to get my
newbrace installed, and I am so happy that we will not have to drill the
car.
Please remind me where to send the payment (and amount), and confirm that
you
have my name on the list. Thanks again for all of your efforts.

Has anyone purchased a custom fitted car cover for their Amphi? I
don't park her outside so that type is not necessary. It would be
nice to know if any companies have the pattern so I don't have to get
a generic cover.

Hand controls are almost done, just need a 12v vacuum pump to operate
the booster, as my Ranger refuses to follow the amphi around with a
vacuum umbilical cord attached! ;) I will post updated pics once I
have the pump installed.

CDs/books ship tomorrow! Yes, really they will, I promise!! If you
have an old version, get it to me for the -->free<-- upgrade! This is
the final time I post about the upgrade here.

Cap'n

Bill - You don't want a cover on your car while trailering unless
it's an enclosed trailer. The wind will cause the cover to damage your
paint while flapping in the wind.

John is right, you do not want to use a cover on a vehicle on an open trailer while moving. Aside from the damage to the paint on the car, the cover would disintegrate.
