As Brian said the is a proper camp ground at there Fair grounds
We found it hard to use the showers as they were lockec and no one in the
office to open it at 7am.
Alot of venders stay there to so it did fill up
they are members of PASSPORT AMRERICA so you can get half of
but was a bit out of the way from all the action.
same would go for the state part down at St Marys.

As my wife is not going to be with me there this year I am thinking of just
staying at the OLD Wallmart lot across from the main hotel(Holiday inn)

The reason she is not coming is what I have been trying to express... Been
there Done that.not enough for a Non Amphi interestest wife to do year after
year.
She did come wth me to a Air show in FL. and there they had a womens tent
set up with adventures for the ladys not into flying all week.

I recall at one of the Swim-Ins several years ago that one of our fellow
owners had their whomping-big super-RV parked in The Eagles lot for the
duration. In view of the fact that The Eagles' lot is pretty much the de
facto ground zero for the event, I'd really LOVE to see a similar
arrangement reached with them by the Club Board for all Club members to be
able to enjoy such a convenient option in the future. The additional option
of an available 110 volt electrical hookup (read: extension cord) might also
be nice, if not absolutely necessary.

I have to confess to a little bit of self interest here, since I have long
hoped to be able to pile my little family into a nice but older 25
foot-or-so Class A for such excursions with the Amphi in tow (and also be
able to just to hit those beaches just a couple of hours away whenever the
spirit moved us for the weekend). I figure that I should have enough
squirreled away by the end of next winter to start seriously shopping around
for an off-season bargain. In the meantime, while some guys are cruising
the 'net for tittilating boobie pics, the only "onanism" I'm into exploring
right now is of the 4 kilowatt onboard generator kind.
