Beware of the SCAM

Just a note on a scam that someone has attempted twice on me this week.

I was contacted with two e-mails written with broken English in an attempt to
make it appear that they were from overseas. They want to buy a number of my
light lenses but the shipping is to be done through a shipping company. They
want to send a check for large amount of money. I'm supposed to deposit the
check, subtract what I need and forward the rest to the shipping company. Of
course in 10 days the check turns up bad and I would be stuck with the whole
mess.

The whole thing stunk like catfish bait from the get go. I gave the guy my
source for the lenses and he replied that he would prefer working with me.

Wrong answer bone head.

Just a heads up to any of you selling stuff. I though about turning the scam
around and shipping a box of dog poop and holding the check.

Beware,

Scott Moses..

Whatever happened to the concept of not shipping until the check clears?
