Looks as though Fall has arrived. Reviewing one of the best years of
My life. So many wonderful highlights. Mt. Dora started Amphi year off.
Jungle cruise and ocean views-really good. Then back to Illinois. Now
the Norths premiere Spring event Swim With Dave the Wave. Picking up
Grandpa Wave at airport with 9 Amphis all parked in the no parking zone,
then taking river to motel. Hot Rod Power Tour-454 yeah! 4 cylinders and
54 hp! The fat tire crowd loved BW2. Tennesee brought home broken ribs
and bee stings, a great campfire story. Best fireworks ever on river
with Wisconsin group. Never trust a man with a gas powered blender. All
of Celina, every bit of it. 13 people on BW2, near sinking with 6. One
in a thousand shot of winning Half Safe signed by the Author-awesome.
Blowing a Moms mind by checking up on Mike on Illinois river on a
Saturday night. "We saw it coming but did not know what it was". She
said. Taking GrandPa Wave up river to motel-even he needed asprins the
next morning. Luckily Becky and Dee have a soft spot for us! Don't
forget the shrimp. Lake Geneva fabulous camping, weather, swiming and
friends. BW2 has had a lot of hard and happy miles put on her this year.
And is in need of lots of maintenance. Currently six major restorations
under way. Four Amphis,including the stretch dream. Model T Indy car and
Margies convertible Mercedes. A new chapter (of My life) I think has
started and as far as I can tell it is pretty good. Later Dave the Wave
