Battery trays

My car has no battery tray. I have some ideas on making one, I would
like to make it appear as original as possible.
Maybe there is an extra one out there?
What methods have you used to install one?
Does anyone have pics of an original tray setup??

Hi John,
I have an all original battery tray setup in one of my Amphi's.
It's basicly 3 pieces: the tray itself, which is welded to the
right hand floor, a metal battery box, which seems to be there to
protect the battery from radiated heat from the engine, and the
hold down clamp. At least the clamp is available NOS from Hugh. I
can send you pictures but I'd better email them directly to you.

Dave you need to clear up your definition of battery trays.
Battery trays are the unit that actually hold the battery.
I would suggest calling them inner floor under battery/ or Battery side
floor board or??
