Back up light switch

Is there anything inside the back up lights switch under the rear seat that can be repaired? $65 for a new switch seems a little steep. Thanks Ray Handloser

Open the lid and look inside, it is just clamped.

Do not think I have any in Fl. but my list says 2 used in Ont, for $25 each,, New $50.
I have to go up and puts parts away will keep an eye out for one.,
Herb should arrive Tomorrow(Thursday) in Fl/

Yes it can be opened and chances are, like most any switch on these cars, you can fix whatever's wrong with it, unless someone has beat you too it and broke something inside.
