Back on the Road: Washington & Oregon Coasting

We just returned from 18 days on the coast. There was no destination in mind, just a goal to spend every night at the ocean! Amphi was a bit disappointed that there was no swimming, but she did enjoy the gamut from storms and crashing waves to glorious, sunny days.

As usual we attracted many, many admirers, whether touristing at a lighthouse or "cute" shop, visting a restaurant, or just getting fuel. If one can believe the conversations, there just may be a couple of new, potential owners out there now!

We are greatly looking forward to the return of good weather and another swimming season!

Not this year, Warren, but we wish you the best. Now that my face is no
longer "melting" as when you were here, life is less stressful! Maybe you
should come back again (although I guess it IS our turn).

We leave April 12 on the Amtrak Star Coastlight to Santa Barbara for a 12
day visit. We're looking forward to a different adventure.

The wooden nickels you gave us this summer were a great hit with the many
folks we interfaced with on this trip. I's like to buy 500 or so, if your
vendor cans still provide them, or is there a new deal through IAOC now?

Hi Larry,

I hope when you're down my way you can get in touch. Perhaps we can do an Amphicar run when you're here.

We're heading down that way on April 12, John, but will be traveling via
Amtrak this year & Amphi has to stay home in the Boathouse. --Larry

I may have sounded negative there, John. If you don't mind my "lurking
around" w/o Amphi, I'd enjoy an outing! I'll see if Bill & Norma can loan
me a car! --Larry

Larry,

You don't need your car along. Give me a call when you get down here and we'll work out the details.
