Scott, That is great, I was never able to keep the water out on matter what I
did. I gave up, I found that an ill fitting boot was way worse than no boot
at all. So I just run my boots with no lower clamps at all. A boot that fills
with water won't let the water out so once the water gets in it cannot get
out, weeks after you swim those shafts are still wet. I find if you grease a
lot the boots are more of a grease container than a water proof container. So
the water comes in then runs out and dries, the grease keeps the water out of
the shafts and the boots only keeps the grease from slinging all over the
tunnels. You gotta understand we swim our car almost every day so if the
boots hold any water at all the shafts would never dry, and that's not a good
thing.
