We sometimes fret about the cost of Amphicar parts. I needed to replace
the distributor cap and the rotor for my Stalwart amphibious vehicle.
Here is what I paid. The distributor cap cost $100.80. The rotor cost
50.40 The small gasket cost $6.30. At the same time I thought I would
get a carb rebuild kit. That cost $189.00
So that's $346.50 for a distributor cap, rotor and a carb kit. Makes
the Amphicar parts suppliers look pretty good I think.
