Yes, Bill, I think I did go into www.amphicar770.com. I usually click when someone sends out a picture on our e-mail & can never get into the picture with the password in our newsletter. Yes, duh!!! I know it's case sensitive AND know the difference from a capital letter & a small (baby) one. It's interesting what you wrote about the web site above not being our club web site. I was wondering why I couldn't find teck stuff as well as our car inf/vin # info as I once found on the club site. I didn't realize that there were two different ones. Maybe that's why the member password didn't work on the web site above? VERY INTERESTING, and very educational!!!!!
How are things over there in Merry Land? Ina

Attention Web Toed Motoring Horde!
First: It is probably NOT the greatest idea to blast that password and
other privileged login information to the Club's "Members Only" section
right out over the open Internet on this or any other wide open public
forum. Now it will need to be changed to keep out the unauthorized and
unworthy. Yeah... Duh.
Second: If you're able to access a website using your personal login
info, then it's because you're probably accessing this forum's website
under www.amphicar770.com, and not the CLUB website's "Members Area"
under www.amphicar.com. They're different, you see. This forum you are
reading is not run by the International Amphicar Owners Club, as our
fearless forum moderator Mike Israel has pointed out many many times.
Third: The login for the Club website (under www.amphicar.com) is "case
sensitive". That means if you see capital letters, you type capital
letters. If you see lower case or small letter, you type small letters.
The exact password and such can be found in any recent Club
"Wheels-n-Waves" newsletter.
Lastly: Mike, could you perhaps delete the previous two postings of this
thread with that login info "in the clear" before the Google bots catch
it and make it available to our Nigerian scammer/spammer buddies?
Regards,
Bilgey
