Any GM Employees Amongst the Amphi Lovers?

Hi All,

OK, no real Amphi content here.

I am considering purchasing a Saturn Astra in order to ease the fuel pain of filling up my VW Touraeg V8. I was wondering if we had any GM employees on the list who might be able to share a "Friends and Family" authorization number (which yields a nice discount on purchase price).

You only get to flame my asking for freebies if you are one of the 7 persons who have contributed $$$ to the very forum you are using for free

The other alternative would be to start charging for access to the list!!

What's wrong with asking for a deal? I have NO problem with Mike's request. But the act of flaming the guy who provides us all with a HUGE freebee (AKA - This very list!) is beyond me . I am one of those 7 who has dropped a small amunt of $ for the cause here. I will NOT be flaming Mike though! If I had known that I could, I may just donate more! :005:

I had wanted to donate for some time now, but could not figure out how to do it, as I was receiving the postings as seperatye email messages.
I finally went to the new forum homepage, and found the "donate" link, and I have now made my donation too.
I strongly urge everyone else on this list who is able to do so, to make a contribution (big or small) to the efforts of Mike and the new forum site.
If you simply go to the home page, and click on the "Donate" link up top,it is easy to do.
I am sorry that it took me so long to figure it out, as I had previously suggested that we all make a donation, and I was unable to figure out how to do it.
