Mike Israel's notice (a few weeks ago) about Growerflowers.com and his
relationship with them came at an opportune time for me. I needed to send
something to my mother for Mother's Day, and to my sister for her birthday,
which fell on the same weekend.

It was a great deal -- their price and offerings beat Proflowers.com,
Flowers.com, Amazon, and others. I selected a 24-rose bouquet for each of them,
and Growerflowers even threw in a vase with each bouquet. Both bouquets arrived
via Fedex on the appointed morning, well packed and fresh. My mother and sister
each immediately phoned me, thrilled with the beautiful roses, and for several
days each of them bragged about how the flowers were getting more and more
beautiful every day.

Mike was very correct about the quality, service, and price. I'm a happy
customer, and I bet you will be too if you give them a try. This is a wonderful
opportunity to deal with a great company and support Mike's efforts with the
Amphicar list at the same time.

Thanks for the plug. I should also thank all of those
people who did place flower orders. I never actually
see who ordered, just the confirmation that an order
was placed for a certain item/amount. So thanks to
all of you for the orders.

Yes, I only affiliated with Growers after using them
myself. I have been extremely impressed with the
quality of their offerings. They were rated by the
Wall Street Journal as the best place to buy flowers.
The flowers I ordered for my wife lasted nearly two
weeks (unlike the ones from the local florist which
often dropped in two days).
