But planes do a better job of making a mess.
Im in a rehab center in Toronto.
A common room with comp. is right next to my bed room so can come on each day..
I was out for a Fiday night spin with a few other pilots, we were on our way home when my engine Quite, (I was about 300 ft off the ground) so no time to find a good spot,Hit some trees, ripped wings of and nosed to ground!
took 1 1/2 hrs to get my broken body out of upsidedown plane then was Air lifted to Toronto, where my left leg brken femor was pinned an sclap sewn bak on..
rest of me looks ok.
but down time will be long

Gord,

As a plane crash survivor (1969 Cessna 172 went down 6/25/78) I can empathize with you! Crashing SUCKS! I walked away with some cuts and ruined underwear, but otherwise fine. Very scary to be sure. You are a good man and personally I am relieved that you will recover.

So from one rehab hospital to another... I hope your nurses are as hot as mine! :005:

Time is something I never have enought of,
In Hospital I have too much. Days go so slow, nights are worse.I looked threw the club Clasified and saw old prices from 2002-3
Whish I could but can,t sell for that anymore so need to get them removed..
Ouch, leg hursts sittin here thou so off I go.

Its been 4 weeks since the crash, at home for 2 weeks,Healing is making knee very stiff but I go to pool and hot tub and work it out.
head looks awful but not much pain more an itch.
Ron Trudeau arrived here last week and is leaving today, Friday.
He has helped me get the shop back in order, put boats away and together we put suspention back in a car I had on the Hoist. I could not have done anything without him here to help.Talk about a great friend, you just can,t beat a guy whom would come over 600 miles just to help a guy out who,s down,
UPDATE
I am trying to get off the drugs(perkistans) for pain,Tylinal do not help at all so I am am all mixed up right now, so be pacient with me if you call or email for parts, Im up/ DOWN ALL DAY AND NOT SLEEPING GOOD AT NIGHT

laughter is the best medicine and Ron knows how to make people laugh.

In a time where there has been much "mud" on the group, I am happy to read
