Amphicar values

Where are values at the moment, I need to renew the insurance on my cars.

Leaving aside the pretty and concours and freshly restored stuff:

My thoughts are:

Good useable car that you would drive 100+ miles and feel happy sailing across a lake. $40,000 ?
Restoration project - complete, pushable but not driveable, steel hood and trunk, but rust in rear quarters and doors, thinking finger size rust holes at worst. $20,000 ?
Anything with a title that could be restored but has bits missing and perhaps has been stored outside so could only be dragged on to a trailer. $10,000 ?

That sound about right ?

David,

I think you're spot on. You've described my three cars precisely
along with the agreed upon values.

David-
This is a great topic that is not often discussed.*** Right now most cars-common high production collector cars
are at best 50-60 cents on a dollar-*here in the states*
*The 40k Amphicar**goes round and round on ebay and related sites without being sold-right now
The *Rough car is starting at* *$2000. and depends on the location*( East coast can bring more money) sometimes

BUT the true complete barn find low mile car with no signs of molestation is* like still* got us excited !
How many are left*.....**** dozens or hundreds?

********************* Just a swim-in reminder** Boston in August** 27th-30th
****************3rd annual**-* camping or hotel* (see club website)
*************** many lakes* - lots of good fun
*************************************
****************************************************** see you* there*******
