Well if it is "the best one you will ever see" then Stevie Wonder must have been a judge in that competition !

It looks average-OK but much of the detail is wrong and the paint is poor in places with overspray. "Frame of restoration"? how do you do that then on an Amphicar?!

What really gets me about this bloke is he "lifted"a load of content from amphicars.com. He didn't ask and there is no acknowledgement but then he copyrights it as his in the description !

Regardless of all his certificates I'd advise anyone thinking of bidding to go and carefully inspect the car and also unless you have a lot of experience take along someone who really knows Amphicars and can spot any problems that might be hidden.

I have sent him a stern but respectful message about stealing our
images w/o asking. We will see how he handles that. This is a rude and
un-ethical practice. I believe that he has shown what type of sales
person he is by his actions and less than honest description. Let's
hope that somehow it was an honest mistake.

He was less than co-operative! Had he been polite and understanding
instead of argumentative, I would have allowed it. He finally decided
that it would be best to remove the stolen images. If he was a member,
there would be no problem at all. This is the 1st time I have had a
problem with anyone that I caught with stolen images. They always
apologized and were alllowed to use them. This guy kept insisting I
send him the legal ownership papers for the files. Sheesh....

I try to be a nice guy, but I am not in any mood to argue with anyone
lately. Can I go now?

Oh man...Back in the day I used to LOVE it when folks would snap photos directly off the Club or Amphicar.net server (at least this shnook had the sense to host them on his own dime). Just for a gag I would rename/replace whatever the photowas with something like this, orworse.
