My Dadowned an AmphiCar from the late 60's until the summer of '84
when heresided in Orchard Park, New York just south of Buffalo.
I have several pictures of his Amphi and it appeared in great shapecomplete with theflag post, navigation light, convertible top boot, trim etc.that I see you folks talking about either being present, lacking or being looked for for your Amphi.
The New York Boat Registration on the side of the car was NY1046EF, VINnumber not known. The Amphi was what I woulddescribe as white but you might call it pearl or another name.
In 1977, my daughter who was 3, joined my Dad and I when we took the boat ramp into the Niagara River or maybe it was the Erie Canal. My daughterto this day remembers stating: " Cars go on the road. Boats go in the Water".
The purpose of this post is to simply see if anybody has seen or now owns it so I can pass the word to the family that one of my Dad's toyz ( what he calledhis "stuff") lives on. Last year or so we tracked his plane down many miles from Buffalo, still airworthy and operational.
Thanks in advance to anybody that lets me know.

Bill
