Does anyone know a lot about pistons?
Many years ago I bought a set of .030 pistons & rings for a 1147 Herald
from a Triumph dealer.
I recently discovered they had 4 rings, (3 rings towards the top & 1 ring
towards the bottom), while the original pistons only have 3.
I have pictures of them in case anyone wants to see.
Does anyone have any idea if there are any advantages or disadvantages with
the 4-ring piston?
By the way, they're for sale.
