Amphicar on Discovery Tonight (June 21, 2012)

Looks like Dave Punaro and his Amphicar (HAFBOAT) will be on Discovery channel on a show called "Final Offer" tonight. Dave gets to pitich his Amphicar to 4 antique and collectible dealers. Will he sell or come to the 12th Annual San Diego Swim-In on August 18th with the Amphi? Tune in tonight.

Well, the U-Verse guide was off and it looks like the Amphi segment will air next Thursday. Dave's Amphi did get a half second of exposure. That has to count for something.

Well.... the exposure for Amphicars was "okay" on the show but I'm not quite sure what the perception of prices would be from the public. Hmmm...

What was offer? And was it accepted?

The top offer was $30K. That seems quite low to me, but there are a lot of $40-$50K Amphicars around that have been for sale for a long time! Of course, he did not sell. I wouldn't have sold it either!
