Hello,
My name is Keith McElroy and I am the Fire Chief at U.S. Naval Station Rota,
Spain (Civilian). I've wanted an Amphicar for many years and I hope to buy
one upon my return to Calif. in a few years (home town is Redding, CA).
I have been an unsuccessful bidder on ebay for the small 4 inch amphicar
model and noticed one recently sold for $305.00 I started searching for the
maker of this car and found him in Germany. His name is Tom Wolter and I
called him and ordered a red amphi model. It cost me $105.00 plus $18 for
shipping (same cost is shipped to the US). This price is for one fully
assembled with its display case. You can opt to buy a kit for $49.00. These
cars can be in any color except the kits for which you paint yourself. My
amphicar model arrived in perfect condition and expertly packed. If you are
interested, here is the information:

I enjoy reading all your email regarding the pleasures you share in owning
an amphicar. I've talked with Dave the Wave, David Chapman, and Scott Moses
and they are truely wonderful folks as I know all of you are.
I wish you safe and happy driving/swimming!!

Keith McElroy

Hello! I'm from Moscow, Russia. I found out that the english company Gibbs Technologies had finished the final stage of testing an unusual car, which can both go the highway with the speed of 160 km/h and swim with the speed of 60 km/h. The commercial sale of this vehicle will start in the end og this year by the price of 21000 $.
I'd be pleased to get any kind of information about this amphibious. Thanks
Best regards
Konstantin</font>
