Amphicar In Commercials

The dealership was Horizon Chevy in Naperville. They are one of the
many dealerships which are being purchased around the nation by
AutoNation. ( the used car superstore guys who were losing their
shirts thus this new approach). The amphicar was not being shown as a
car for sale but as a prop. It did have quite a long (for a
commercial) spot though. Anyone in the Chicago area check out the
three stooges at 7-8am. Possibly they will run it again.

I called Horizon Chevy to inquire about it. The person I spoke with
wasn't very nice at all, but he did say that it was a commercial done
by some large advertising firm and he would not give me any more info
on it. I certainly would'nt buy a car from him with his attitude.
