I will be posting a car on Ebay soon for a friend.But if anyone on
this group is seriously interested you can contact me and I will let
him know.The car is located in NATICK,MA.Here are the specs.It is a
red 1967.Has been in a warehouse for some years."pickeled".I
completely drained all the fluids and replaced,threw in some gas and
an inline gas filter.And wow,it starts and runs.It idles nicely but
probably needs a tune up or points or something.Runs a little rough
while driving.Tranny goes in all gears including reverse.The brakes
do not work.Probably need to be bled or at worst wheel cylinders.But
I am not sure.I have driven it around the neighborhood a few times
using the e-brake to stop.
....The body is very complete and very
solid.It does have a hole under the battery.As most,but I believe
that is the only area that needs to be welded in order to float.The
car as I said is very complete.I believe the only missing part is the
rear deck removable light.And my friend the owner of the car might
have an extra.....not 100% sure though.The only history of the car
that I am aware of is that it belonged to a vacation resort something
like the one on the movie "DIRTY DANCING". If you are interested or
have any questions please contact me. I will then get a hold of the
owner and put you in touch with him. I am not a middle man.I was just
going to play with the Amphicar but have too many other things to do
right now....AND besides...he has more if I change my mind or find
the time next year!!!!!I believe he is looking for around $17,000. I
know you couldnt find an easier one to restore with all the parts if
