Amphicar disk brakes

I've seen a few pictures and a mention of it once or twice. Is there a
write up on the conversion? Anyone on here done it and have some feed
back on the safety and performance? Does it work front and rear? Is
the stock master cylinder retained or is a proportioning valve
installed?
