Amphi TOPS in reliability!!!
Seems pretty ironic. Certainly an
attention getting subject line, but
truth be told... it's the truth for
this week in Amphipoda's five car
family. Mermaid's Jag is in the
shop, electrical nightmares, no
surprise there. Our Miata has a
leaky radiator hose, been there -
gotta fix that. My Old's has a
flat battery from lack of use,
has not seen the road since Lake
Puddingstone Swim-In and I left
an accessory light on... Duh. And
my Subaru GT has a slow leak in
the left rear tire. Only Amphi
is at his peak of performance, no
problems what-so-friggin-ever and
he's ready to ride or swim at a
moments notice. Only problem is
the local lake is closed to boating
(and Amphi-ing) during October.
So I will load up Amphi with battery
charger, new tire, radiator hoses,
and a Jag electrical manual and
spend the coming weekend working on
cars rather than swimming. The
guys at Napa Auto Parts already
know me by my cars. Maybe I should
introduce myself as...
