Amphi in Infiniti commercial

I was watching JAG on CBS tonight and it looks like a Red
Amphi was in the Infiniti G35 commercial. Did anybody else
catch a glimpse? The commercial's theme was about cars of the
future with rocket cars, record turn tables and toasters in
some cars consoles, and then in one brief scene, it had some
women in a pool and a glimpse of what looked like the drivers
side of a Red Amphi, but you could only catch a quick look at
the lower part of the drivers door and rear tire. The
commercial was about 46 minutes past the hour.

Al,
I'll tape the show, out here on the West Coast, and check it out for
you.

Al,
Evidently that commercial was run in the local time block of the show.
At least it wasn't run in the 44-46 minutes slot in my local market.
I'll scan the tape all the way through and see if it shows up.

Hi, We saw it also. We thought it was the foward passengers side. Sad that
some of the other auto concepts did not go into production. It also showed
rocket powered cars, but the Amphi is the only car we saw that was produced.

I saw a quick glimpse but thought I might have been
mistaken. Seemed like all the pictures were from past
auto shows judging from the attire of the models.

I caught the "extended" version of the spot last night on Suvivor. In
addition to the shot caught by Ralph they did an overhead shot of the pool.
You can clearly see that it's a red amphi with it's top down floating in the
middle of a swimming pool surrounded by swiming models at a period auto show.
My bet is that they didn't give the amphi too much attention because it is the
only one of the other concept cars they describe that DID actually make it to
production. That information would blow their advertising concept of "where
are all those cool cars they promised us?"...

Its a poor shot of the TV screen, but my TiVo allowed me to at least freeze
the 1 second glimpse of the red Amphi.

I now have a digitized clip of that entire commericial that I
could temporarily upload if anybody wanted to see it, but its
about 4 meg and the amphi is only briefly shown. Interest???

PS. For the spam change stuff, from other boards I'm on, it
appears that only those lucky enough to be in the US get the
new options. Some people on other boards have decided to move
out of the US because of this and are now picking UK-English,
Austrialian-English....
