The G.M. alternator fits the hole very well. You will have to look at
schematics to see what wires to tape out of way on regulator. I went
G.M. because I did not want to find brackets from a Spitfire. Parts like
that are hard to find in "corn country". For sound proofing use
elastomeric pvc foam from W W Grainger. Later Dave the Wave . Viva
