I purchased a '64 from the original owner. He bought it from a dealer in
Milwaukee. The car was last licensed in '69 according to the plate. The car
has rested and rusted since then. Some air. Stored in a leaky barn with the
top down (it is junk); it is all there except for no windshield (smashed by
a vandal), and the bow light lens and the visors have been removed. A minor
dent in the rear, one rear bumper is gone, the other is bent, and a ding in
the front. Everything else is there. Body is straight, I don't think body
work was ever done (but it needs it now). Color is red and brown. The
late-style tranny looks great, according to the oil. Engine oil looks right,
but not sure if it is stuck or not. It probably is.

The 1st owner said "It might start if it had a good battery, some gas, and
if I only could find the keys".

The first $4995 takes it. Yes, it is priced right. You will see it on eBay
soon if no takers. I can deliver.

Since I started looking for cars in June of this year, this is the 6th car
that I have rescued. The 9th that I have owned over my almost 20
year-infatuation with Amphis. I am searching for that right car for a few
club members, and I will find them!

Just looked at a running car that I received photos on.....good from far,
but far from good! There are scams out there! Be careful.

Thank you Rob.

I will keep your words in mind when I can afford to take the tumble. I am
not much of a mechanic.
