The following item from the "Quirky Stories" section of the Ananova news

until one considers Al and Debra Heath's photo in the Club's "Meet the
Members" page at http://www.amphicar.com/members/members.html (direct photo
link: http://www.amphicar.com/members/aheath.jpg ).
The lesson here: Be careful out there folks! There may be unexpected perils
in being a little too much of an "attractive nuisance," as some cop once
actually threatened to charge Billy and Randy with on some riverfront
somewhere or other. Here's the story. ~Bilgey~:

Swan falls in love with pedal boat
A confused swan has fallen in love with a swan-shaped pedal boat, and is
chasing off anyone who tries to take it out on to the lake. The owner of the
rental boat company Amin Silwar, said: "At first we thought it was very
funny, but when we realised the swan would not allow people near the boat it
was not so funny. "I have lost a lot of business, but then again people are
coming from all around to see the swan and his true love. "I am told swans
choose partners for life, but I hope he finds a real mate eventually. We
will have to wait and see." The swan at the boating pond in Hamburg,
Germany, met his model partner at the start of last year, and has refused to
leave ever since.
