I'm choked at having to make this decision, but now is the time. I'm selling my white 1961 amphicar. I will supply answers*to interested parties along with photos. This car is road worthy and is a good swimmer .My asking price will be $32000.00 US. Delivery or pick up can be arranged. This car is located on Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada

There are only a few true 61s out there, this is a very desieable model to have, I only know of a few,
Peter in Fl has serial #100048
there in one in Tx..#100042
One here waiting repairs..#100056
Early cars have a different front hood. the frame underneath is a square box
the horn has smilly groves instead of holes.
The frame under the rear seat is smaller in diameter.
And of coarse, no blower.
What is the searil # of this car and does it have all of the above?
Did you not send a pic of it to me last year?I thought it was sold.

Just a quick note as I'm on the road. The original steel hood is in storage and I don't remember what the frame was. The horn has as you say smiley holes. There is no* blower. As for the*frame under the seat I have*nothing to compare it to for size.
The vin # if I have it in my notes is 103219
And no, you did not sell it last year but you made inquiries for a third party and I never recieved a reply back.
This car is white with red trim moldings and red top, also red interior. *Hadley*
