Bill, could you post this add for me on the Amphicar site.
Thanks, Craig
1985 Class B Ford Van style Motorhome with a Pathfinder 4x4 conversion.
I bought this RV 4 years ago with 60k miles on it. I did the conversion
myself using a 1 ton 4x4 Ford van for parts. I completely rebuilt all
and replaced everything in the drive train, at the time of the
conversion, from the transmission to the wheels. No expense was spared.
I installed a new 351W engine last winter. It has had the Air pump
removed and will need it replaced to pass IM. Mechanically everything is
new with less then 10k on the drive train and 3k on the engine. It has
two fuel tanks with a 52 gal total capacity. Ford limited slips in both
axles with 4:11 gearing. 32" tires with Ford Aluminum rims (not in these
photos). No rust at all.
It's fully self contained with a shower and toilet in the rear.
Generator, Micro wave, AC, furnace, 3 burner stove, and fridge freezer
combo. Hot water heater and 20 gal water tank. This is a class B
Motorhome van with a raised fiberglass roof and a 12 ft awning. It is a
tall rig with the larger tires and 4x4 system. 11.5' at the top of the
AC unit on the roof.
I really hate to sell this, l did most of the work myself, but I'm
looking to get something smaller for a daily driver, a Jeep CJ or older
Bronco, and some cash for an amphicar I'm restoring. I would consider
trades for a Jeep CJ or older Bronco and Amphicar Parts.
