2006 International Amphicar Owners Club
(IAOC) membership renewal is steady, but
only 1/3 of what it was at peak of 2005. I
have reformatted the newsletter to 20 pages!!!
Reader's Digest size - perfect for bathroom
reading, (but not as ideal for bird cage liners
as the old format). Sadly, I can only send these
fine newsletters to members who've renewed their
IAOC membership for 2006. Hopefully everyone
got the bright neon orange renewal form and the
pre-addressed return envelope and has or soon
will renew before year end - HINT, HINT!
You can also join via the website at:
http://www.amphicar.com/join.htm
Sorry no freebie reminder issues this year...
Also - a there's a new password for the
amphicar.com website coming in the Jan/Feb issue.

I plan to issue the member listing in the Mar/
Apr issue to include all 2005 AND 2006 members!
That's a massive listing my fine finned
friends. Also a membership card sure to dazzle
the amphibious and non-amphibious masses.

Please remember to renew your IAOC membership
as soon as possible. Enough said?

Be well, swim safe.

That prompted me to get off my ... um.. chair ... and renew.
But this year, it appears the web way will automatically renew
you each year.... i.e.:

********
"You have successfully signed up for a subscription to 2006 IAOC 1
year membership using PayPal.

Your first subscription payment, for $30.00 USD, has already been
sent to International Amphicar Owners Club. ....

Your subscription will automatically renew at the rates stated
above unless you cancel prior to the end of the billing period. ... "
********

Some people may like the auto renew, some people may not. It appears
you can take a few extra steps after the fact and cancel the automatic
renewal. Or I guess leave it and never have to worry about it again...

Anyway, just FYI
