I just came across 2 Amphicars for sale in Riverside, Ca. for $7500. They are listed on Craigs list. Comes with 2 engines, 2 trannys, tops etc. They claim that one was used in Pontiac Moon! call David at 714-309-0685

This is really interesting. For one thing, it confirms that the Pontiac Moon cars were actually a brighter blue than seen in the movie. Mine is a tad lighter but was confirmed as one of the four by Bob Gordon. This now accords for three of four, one in Alabama (Ray Hornsby), me in Yuma, and this one. There were five blue/white interiors with the extra now installed in a San Diego car that was not used in the movie. Interesting...
